About Rev. Ann Essance, Minister, Poet, Artist, Educator Ann Essance BS, MS, Th.D has over thirty-five years experience as an educator, counselor, artist and creative writer. She is a licensed educator, retired, in both Louisiana and New Mexico. She has a BS degree in Home Economics Education and is certified in Early Childhood Education. Special Education, Family and Consumer Science, Education K-12, and Counseling. She is a licensed Interfaith Minister, emeritus, with an MS in Counseling/Psychology. and an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from St. John's University in CA.. She has both an educational/experiential background in Art and Writing and has exhibited her works in many one-woman/group shows and museums in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, California, New York and New Mexico.
